Cáritas Coimbra is going to participate in a webinar that marks the International Day of Informal Carers
Cáritas Coimbra will share its experiences in technological projects where informal carers have been involved. This is happening in a webinar on 5 November, at 14:30.
This event is organized by UICISA:E (The Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing – Unit of Research in Health Sciences of the Nursing School of Coimbra – ESEnfC) and marks the International Day of Informal Carers. “Technologies and training of the Informal Carer” is the central theme of the webinar that will allow different entities to share their research results.
Flávia Rodrigues (Cáritas Coimbra) will present Smartwork, DAPAS and other technological projects in which the entity is participating, under the motto “Technologies that connect people – involving informal carers”.
In addition to Cáritas Coimbra, the following guests and respective themes are also on the panel: Paulo Alexandre Ferreira (ESEnfC)- “Training for care: the experience of an informal carer for someone who has had a stroke”; Verónica Coutinho (ESEnfC) – “COPD.SUPORT: application development for informal carers of patients living with COPD” and Maria do Céu Nunes and Telma Vidinha (CHUC) – Training of informal carers. Paulo Alexandre Ferreira (ESEnfC) will chair the event.
