Cáritas Coimbra attended the kick-off meeting of the new AAL4ALL project
On January 26th and 27th, Caritas Coimbra attended the kick-off meeting of its new project AAL4ALL.
This meeting started the activities of the AAL4ALL project and brought together its consortium, coordinated by the company Anyware Solutions Ap, and composed of other European entities: Ana Aslan International Foundation (Romania), Exthex GmbH (Austria), Hochschule Luzern iHomeLab (Switzerland), bonacasa AG (Switzerland) and Blaeksrutten (Denmark).
The AAL4ALL solution intends to make active older adults remain independent for longer in their own homes, providing them with smart homes, through an accessible, preventive technology that avoids the stigmas associated to this kind of innovation.
Ana Filipa Leandro and Natália Machado, from the Innovation Department, participated in the meeting and presented the first tasks in which Caritas Coimbra will participate: Ethics and Co-creation.
With the participation in this project, Caritas Coimbra will continue to consolidate its role in the co-creation and validation of requirements for healthy aging solutions with its employees and users.
The AAL4ALL project is part of the AAL (Assisted Living Environments) program and is funded in Portugal by the FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology.
