Cáritas Coimbra participates in the third AAL2Business workshop

Cáritas Coimbra participated in the third and final workshop AAL2Business – The lean approach, promoted by the AAL Lean Startup Academy, in Vienna (Austria), on the 29th of January.

Natália Machado, from Cáritas Coimbra’s Innovation Department, was present at this third session, continuing the work previously done. Throughout the day, there was the opportunity to improve and deepen the knowledge, regarding the strategy of exploring AAL (Active and Assisted Living) projects, and to apply the acquired knowledge to the development of the DAPAS project. DAPAS is co-financed by the European AAL Programme and, in the Portuguese case, by FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology. The project aims to combine several innovative solutions in a single product, based on the needs of older people and their caregivers.

This last workshop had, as its main focus, the presentation of the “value proposition” of each participant. AAL2Business involves organizations that deal with end users through a co-creation methodology, with the aim of to implement technological solutions on the market that effectively improve the quality of life of older people.
