Cáritas Coimbra travels to Greece for the 2nd meeting of the AVIK project
Cáritas Coimbra will be in Thessaloniki – Greece, March 18-20, to attend the second meeting of the AVIK cultural exchange and social inclusion project. This is a project funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus + program. Representing the institution will be Flávia Rodrigues and Sofia Ortet.
In the second meeting of this project of exchange of intercultural competences and good practices for social inclusion, the partners will have the opportunity to see put into practice for the first time the game RefuGame. This is an incentive to intercultural communication and mutual understanding between the native and non-native population and is used successfully as educational material in intercultural groups. Later this practice will be transferred, adapted and evaluated in each country. In this meeting it will be possible to understand how to best implement this intercultural game in each country and what different questions to promote in the community.
The meeting’s agenda includes the presentation of the project’s website and discussion on dissemination activities, administrative issues and tasks. It will also be discussed the adoption of the game according to the objectives of the AVIK project.
AVIK is a project coordinated by the German WHKT-Westdeutscher Handwerkskammertag, with the remaining partners being Cáritas Coimbra (Portugal), CIAPE – Centro Italiano per L’Apprendimento Permanente (Italy), VondiConsulting Unternehmensberatung Vondrak KG (Austria), Datca Ilce Milli Egitim Mudurlugu (Turkey), Centre for the Greek Language (Greece) and AC Amics de la Biblioteca de la Fonteta (Spain).
