Cáritas Coimbra present in Austria for the final evaluation of the Toilet4me project

On May 14 and 15, Cáritas Coimbra will be in Vienna, Austria, with all its consortium partners of the Toilet4me project, for the final evaluation of the results achieved by the AAL Programme and external experts.

The Toilet4me project aims to build on the results of an earlier project, iToilet, which had as its main challenge the creation of a smart and adapted sanitary facility, suitable for older citizens, in a residential version. Toilet4me intends to analyse whether it will be interesting for older people, their caregivers and organizations, public and private, to implement smart sanitary facilities in semi public environments, so that seniors can perform more outdoor activities, thus contributing to a more active and healthy ageing.

In the evaluation meeting the evidences and conclusions of the work carried out by each of the partners will be presented and will be made public very briefly.

This project is funded under the AAL programme, with the portuguese funding being provided through the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, which coordinates the national participation – Cáritas Coimbra, Instituto Pedro Nunes and iHCare.
