DAPAS Project disseminated at the D4 Action Group meeting in Poland

On May 9 and 10, Cáritas Coimbra was present at the Meeting of the D4 Action Group of the European Innovation Partnership for Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP-AHA), at the LifeScience Park, Krakow – Poland.

Cáritas Coimbra, represented by Ana Luísa Jegundo of the Innovation Department, disseminated the DAPAS project, which aims to integrate the successful results of previous AAL community projects – Active Assisted Living, developed from different companies in different countries. These innovative solutions are being combined into a single product that can be distributed on a larger scale to improve the quality of life of many people. DAPAS is co-funded by the European AAL Joint Programme (Active Assisted Living – ICT for Ageing, 2017) and, in the portuguese case, by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P.

The D4 Action Group aims to bring together partners from across Europe who commit to implement strategies to create conducive environments to active and healthy ageing of the European population. This action group brings together nearly 200 partners, including regional and local authorities from throughout the European Union, NGOs, academia, research centres and companies.
