Cáritas Coimbra attended the transnational meeting of the SUST-AID project
On 21 March, Cáritas Coimbra attended the second transnational meeting of the European project SUST-AID, which took place in Vienna, Austria. This meeting brought together the members of the consortium, with the purpose of presenting and discussing the results achieved so far.
One of the focus points was the elaboration of the Methodological Guide for professionals and volunteers of food aid programmes, elaborated based on the data collected in the co-creation sessions held in the partner countries. This Guide will serve as the basis for the SUST-AID training modules, which will be available on an e-Learning platform, so that professionals and volunteers can acquire skills on sustainability in food aid programmes. Another central point was the definition of the themes and topics of each module, as well as the distribution of tasks.
It is co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme and has the partnership of 6 European entities: Cáritas Coimbra (Portugal), Prolepsis Civil Law Non-Profit Organization of Preventive Environmental and Occupational Medicine (Greece), ISEKI-Food Association (Austria), CSI Center for Social Innovation LTD (Cyprus), The Polish Farm Advisory and Training Centre not for-profit Sp. z o. o. (Poland) and Federacja Polskich Banków Żywności (Poland).
