REGISTRATIONS OPEN | International Conference on Social Innovation
On November 8th and 9th, Smart Healthy Age-friendly Environments (SHAFE) and Social Innovation will be highlighted in Coimbra, in the International Conference Learning and Implementing Social Innovation. The event aims to share and discuss approaches, projects and best practices related to Social Innovation and how to implement and develop healthier and inclusive environments. In addition to the panels of speakers, during the two days of the conference workshops and face-to-face meetings will allow for different projects to be presented and discussed.
Cáritas Coimbra will be present on both days of the event. On the first day, it will be represented in the discussion of Hands-on SHAFE, a project that is developing training packages and tools to encourage people to implement the SHAFE concept in their communities. It will also participate in the panel “People at the centre of the interventions”, with the sharing of experiences and good practices of the Pharaon project. On the second day it will be a speaker on the panel “ICT and Health hand-in-hand”, presenting the ValueCare project as a practical example. On this last day it will also dynamise a workshop in the scope of Hands-on SHAFE, based on the training package “Healthy” area.
