Cáritas Coimbra participated in the second PHILIP consortium meeting

On November 9th, the PHILIP partners met in Karditsa, Greece, for the second consortium meeting of the project. All partner entities participated including Cáritas Coimbra, represented by Ana Goreti Oliveira and Vera Pinto, from the Innovation Department.

During the meeting, the project developments regarding implementation and dissemination were presented. In addition, the national results of the quantitative research among pupils 11-15 years old and the qualitative research on good practices and challenges in promoting health literacy for children and adolescents were shared. The meeting ended with the planning of the next steps and the division of tasks.

The PHILIP project aims to increase the health literacy levels of young people aged between 11 and 15 years and to empower educators through health literacy education and awareness-raising activities. The materials resulting from the project, including a book for educators and educational modules for young people, will be available to the general public, free of charge.

This project is funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Programme, in a partnership between six European entities: Cáritas Diocesana de Coimbra (Portugal), Tiber Umbria Comett Education Programme – TUCEP (Italy), E-School Educational Group (Greece), Academia Postal 3 Vigo S.L. (Spain), Inovaciju tinklas (Lithuania) and Ústav pro zdravotní gramotnost, z.ú. (Czech Republic), project coordinator.
