EHTEL hosts Cáritas Coimbra to share knowledge
For two weeks, from 22 August to 2 September, Cáritas Coimbra is on exchange in the Belgian capital – Brussels, under the LIFEBOTS Exchange project.
During this period, Elisabete Pitarma, from the Innovation Department of Cáritas Coimbra, is being hosted at EHTEL – Collaborating for Digital Health and Care in Europe to carry out her secondment – period in which an organisation welcomes an outside worker to exchange experiences and knowledge.
The project manager, Elisabete Pitarma, together with Carlos Neves from IDMIND, and Marc Lange and Diane Whitehouse from EHTEL, are preparing the LIFEBOTS project workshop on Shaping a New Approach to Home-Based Rehabilitation With the Support of a Virtual Coach, which will take place on 30 August in Brussels.
The Cáritas Coimbra representative is getting to know the work of the EHTEL partner and, in a sense of exchange, contributing with the knowledge acquired through the work of her institution.
The LIFEBOTS Exchange project aims to create a new reality of care with the inclusion of social robots, through an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international cooperation and with the exchange of people and knowledge. Besides Cáritas Coimbra and EHTEL, the LIFEBOTS consortium is composed by 11 other research entities, companies and NGOs from all over Europe and South Korea. This project was approved within the framework of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA RISE), under the European Commission’s H2020 programme.
