NET4Age-Friendly has launched their website and social media accounts
NET4Age-Friendly started in October 2020 and aims to establish local or regional ecosystems in each country involved, to work on health and well-being in an age-friendly digital world, all combined in an inclusive environment. These ecosystems include citizens, public authorities, businesses/NGOs and researchers. It is divided in four thematic groups: User-centred inclusive design; Integrated health and well-being pathways; Digital solutions and large-scale sustainable implementation; Policy development, funding forecast and cost-benefit evaluations. The outcomes of the thematic working groups will be integrated through a fifth group in a single Reference Framework, which will be the main result of the project.
Since the start, it has organised working groups, and has just launched their website, https://www.net4age.eu , and social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, where you can follow all the work.
The network already has 285 researchers from 50 countries around the world and funded by the COST programme which is supported by the EU Framework Programme Horizon 2020. The NET4Age-Friendly COST Action – International Interdisciplinary Network on Smart Healthy Age-friendly Environments was a call led by Cáritas Coimbra in a joint collaboration with AFEdemy. Currently Renata Rasteiro, Project Financial Coordinator at the Innovation Department of Cáritas Coimbra, is the network manager of this Action.
