Participate in the DIANA project: Are you a nurse or caregiver supporting a person living with a form of dementia?

Are you a nurse or caregiver supporting a person living with a form of dementia?
If the answer is yes, the DIANA project wants to hear from you!

Cáritas Coimbra invites you to collaborate with DIANA!

There are more than 9,9 million of new dementia cases worlwide each year, this mean one new case every 3,2 seconds. By 2018 the global dementia cost had surpassed the 900€ billion mark – 80% related to formal and informal costs. DIANA (Smart Digital Assistant for Nursing Applications) aims to overcome this necessity, by providing a new product meant to optimize the workload of nurses providing care treatment for people with dementia. This will be done with the use of intelligent 3D sensors. This project is part of the AAL programme (Active Assisted Living) and it is also funded by FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, in Portugal.

Fill in the form until the 24th of August and share with us your opinion on the use of technology, in particular, the use of Smart Digital Assistants in your workplace.
