University of Norway receives Cáritas Coimbra to share knowledge
For two weeks, from January 9th to 23th, Cáritas Coimbra will be in exchange in the Norwegian city of Trondheim, as part of the Lifebots Exchange project.
During this period, Flávia Rodrigues, from the Department of Innovation of Cáritas Coimbra, will be welcomed at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) to carry out the first part of the secondment – period in which an organization welcomes an outside worker to exchange experiences and knowledge. The second part of this activity will continue in April.
The representative of Cáritas Coimbra will know the work of the University and will contribute with the skills acquired through the performance in her organization. In addition, on January 15th, she will make a presentation on the use of robots in social support during the Cyborg Cinema, the University’s monthly film forum.
The Lifebots project aims to develop a holistic understanding of social robots at the intersection of caregivers, users, interaction, technology and society. In addition to Cáritas Coimbra and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the consortium of this project is made up of 11 other research, industry and social entities. The research work will be developed through the exchange of experiences among employees of the consortium partners, in an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international collaboration. This project is funded by the H2020 under the Marie Curie exchange and innovation program.
