Cáritas Coimbra is in Brussels today, 25th of January, to participate actively in a creative experimental workshop organized by the Agile Aging Alliance, together with Enterprise Europe Network and Innovate UK.

Carina Dantas, from the Innovation Department of Cáritas Coimbra, presented the methodology of the institution in creating new approaches to support ageing, based on participation in projects such as Growmeup (H2020) or Mind & Gait (PT2020). Carina Dantas and Ana Jegundo will participate in the various workshops of the day, with a view to integrative and innovative solutions.

The main goal of the workshop is to forge a European “A Team” that is a leader in co-creating and validating disruptive solutions that support people to stay healthy, active and on the job market throughout the ageing process.

The event includes transdisciplinary researchers, health professionals, businessmen, engineers, corporations, NGOs, public health organizations, local authorities and others.
