Cáritas Coimbra participated in the third DigiLife Consortium meeting in Madrid
On 22 and 23 February, Cáritas Coimbra attended the 3rd transnational meeting of the DigiLife project in Madrid (Spain), to evaluate the pilot implemented in Coimbra (Portugal) and plan the next steps.
On the first day of the meeting, Cáritas Coimbra had the opportunity to present the results of the Portuguese pilot, namely the impact of the acquisition of digital literacy skills among older adults.
The DigiLife project aims to enhance the digital proficiency of older adults through the active participation of young university students, through a practical work experience that fosters intergenerational sharing.
The DigiLife will last 26 months, financed by the Erasmus+ Programme: KA220-ADU – Partnerships for Cooperation in Adult Education of the European Commission, with the Agreement Number 2022-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000088024., and counts with 6 European partners: Cáritas Coimbra (Portugal), Pedro Nunes Institute (Portugal), Volunteering Platform (Spain), People Behind (Greece), Università Degli Studi Di Roma Tor Vergata (Italy) and the Fondazione Garagerasmus (Italy), coordinator of the project.
