Cáritas Coimbra participated in a review meeting for the PlatformUptake.eu Project

The first online technical assessment of the PlatformUptake.eu project took place on April 16, 2021. This review brought together the efforts of the 12 entities that make up the consortium, which includes Cáritas Coimbra, coordinated by SYNYO GmbH.

During the evaluation, all the work carried out in the last months was presented to the various European Commission reviewers, as well as the impact obtained through the implementation of the activities. It was also discussed the strategic approach to the various stakeholders in future actions of the project to maximize the results of this coordination and support action.

PlatformUptake.eu project is a Coordination and Support Action to the European Commission for digital platforms to support Active and Healthy Ageing, which aims to analyze and describe the ecosystem of existing open service platforms for various groups of users, promoting synergies between the respective networks and related projects in the domains AHA – Active and Healthy Ageing and IoT – Internet of Things. Through the creation of centralized online information, it proposes to assess the social impact of existing platforms, create monitoring and evaluation tools, collect user stories and successful good practices, promote interoperability and define common guidelines for the adoption of these platforms on a large scale.

This project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program – Project PlatformUptake.eu “Assessing the State of the Art and Supporting an Evidence-Based Uptake and Evolution of Open Service Platforms in the Active and Healthy Aging Domain”, under grant contract No. 875452
