Cáritas Coimbra to take part in the European meeting on Friendly Environments

Cáritas Coimbra will be at LifeScience Park in Krakow, Poland, to participate in the EIP-AHA D4 Action Group Meeting on Friendly Environments on May 9 and 10.

On behalf of Cáritas Coimbra, Ana Luísa Jegundo, from the Innovation Department, will share experiences and good practices based on the implementation of ongoing projects, such as the DAPAS project, under the theme “Lifelong Approach: Prevention and rehabilitation through digital and health literacy”.

The DAPAS project aims to integrate the successful results of previous AAL community projects – Active Assisted Living, developed from different companies in different countries. These innovative solutions are being combined into a single product that can be distributed on a larger scale to improve the quality of life for many people. DAPAS is co-financed by the European AAL Joint Programme (Active and Assisted Living Environments – ICT for Ageing, 2017) and, in the portuguese case, by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P.
