Cáritas Coimbra is going to discuss standards for active and healthy ageing in Brussels
Cáritas Coimbra will participate as a speaker at the CEN-CENELEC STAIR-AHAConference, which will mark the end of the PROGRESSIVE project (H2020) and will take place in Brussels on 31 January.
Willeke van Staalduinen, of the Innovation Department of Cáritas Coimbra, and one of the coordinators of the Thematic Network SHAFE, will represent the institution in the dissemination of the project Smartwork, a project funded by Horizon 2020 with the objective to design and test friendly environments for workers over 55.
This event aims to bring together innovators, researchers and standardizers to discuss and identify needs and opportunities in the specific area of standards for Active and Healthy Ageing. As such, Cáritas Coimbra will present the Joint Statement on SHAFE, in the panel “Age-friendly communities as enablers of Active and Healthy Ageing”.
